2019 CLUB PIPE ORDERS ARE OPEN!
Just in time for the Texas Pipe Show, right?! We’ve still got time to get in a pipe order this year so here we go with the next North Texas Briar Club Pipe of the Year!
Wait, did you say North Texas Briar Club and not Lone Star Pipe Club?!
Yep, that’s right – the Lone Star Pipe Club has combined clubs with the North Texas Briar Club (under the North Texas Briar Club name) which means that we’ve got more resources and double the monthly meetings! We’ll have more info to come but, for now, that means that the 2019 club pipe is our first COMBINED CLUB PIPE!
Without further ado, let me introduce you to the 2019 North Texas Briar Club pipe – the Briarworks Cutty!
Our good friends at Briarworks have expanded their “Classics” line of pipes to include pretty much every classic shape you could wish for. Each shape in the line is iconic and beautiful and comes with the exceptional engineering that we’ve come to expect from a Briarworks pipe.
And it doesn’t get much more classic and old-school than the Briarworks Cutty. The C141 shape is an elegant, light-weight pipe with modern engineering and a wide array of stem and finish options.
The Briarworks Classic C141 is finished to the exacting standards that Briarworks has come to be known for with a custom-designed, acrylic stem and the iconic Briarworks button, delivering an open draw and a cool, dry smoke every time.
This year’s pipes will all come in the light smooth finish but, much like in past years, you’ll have a variety of stem colors to choose from:
- Classic Black
- White
- Amber
Price for this year’s club pipe will be $155 unless you pay cash in person, in which case it’s $150.
Online prices reflect additional costs due to shipping and PayPal fees. If you want to order online (or via card in person at one of our meetups) but are planning to pick up your pipe at a club meet, you can choose to skip shipping. The $8, flat-rate, USPS shipping is for continental U.S. orders only. If you live outside of the lower 48 and want to order a pipe, please use the form at the bottom of the page to contact us and we’ll see what we can do.
Tuesday, September 24th is the Denton chapter’s September club meetup and that will be the last opportunity to order your 2019 club pipe in person. After the meetup, you’ll have one additional week to order and then we will be turning off orders.
That means that the absolute last day to order is Tuesday, October 1st.
Once we’ve closed the order window, we’ll send everything over to Briarworks and send out an email to everyone letting you know when we can expect to get these pipes in your hands!
NEW THIS YEAR!
Once all of our beautiful pipes come in, we will have a Club Pipe Slow Smoke contest complete with a prize pipe, tobacco, and maybe even a trophy! You have to have a 2019 club pipe to participate, though so make sure to get your order in!
